We're looking for great legal minds to help us shape and drive the debate on privacy, marketing and advertising technology, big data, and AI. This is your chance to work for a global brand with an unparalleled culture where privacy really matters. This role will report to the Senior Director, Privacy, who supports Adobe’s Digital Experience (DX) business unit.

What you'll Do

  • Partner with Product Legal, Engineering, Product, Security, and Marketing teams to drive the development and implementation of Privacy-By-Design strategies for digital marketing products and technologies to address privacy and security risks while supporting product innovation.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders to help make privacy a competitive differentiator for Adobe.
  • Develop, implement and review privacy impact assessments for Adobe products and technologies, including new AI initiatives. Drive projects to streamline and optimize the privacy assessment process.
  • Support Sales Legal and other legal teams on customer, partner, and vendor negotiations related to privacy, including by providing regular training, developing privacy templates and playbooks, and providing direct deal support for strategic negotiations. Identify and drive initiatives to streamline privacy negotiations with customers, partners, and vendors.
  • Be a privacy brand ambassador on enterprise customer calls and in meetings with external stakeholders.
  • Be a privacy evangelist inside Adobe to help grow our culture of privacy (e.g., conduct trainings, represent the privacy team in product strategy and design sessions).
  • Assist with evaluating and implementing global self-regulatory and digital marketing requirements (e.g., NAI, DAA).

What you need to succeed

  • J.D. degree and membership in at least one state bar.
  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant privacy experience (whether in a dedicated privacy role or in product legal or sales legal role working on privacy matters), including prior in-house or law firm experience.
  • Strong interest in privacy law.
  • Desire to dive deep on technical aspects of digital marketing products and technologies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic problem solver with excellent legal and business judgment including demonstrated experience assessing information for risk mitigation opportunities.
  • A meticulous, business-friendly teammate who can think creatively.
  • Strong understanding and experience with both domestic and international privacy requirements.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a great sense of humor and commitment to professionalism.
  • Experience working collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams.
