Distinguishing Characteristics:
Under minimal supervision and administrative direction, the Associated Counsel will assist the General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel in general legal service support for the TAA airport system mission, including but not limited to commercial and real estate matters, leasing, contracting, concessions, finance, public safety, security, regulatory and other airport related issues.

Position Requirements:Â
Juris Doctor degree from ABA accredited law school, Arizona State Bar admission (active attorney in good standing); or other State Bar with the ability to obtain admission to the Arizona State Bar within one (1) year of start date;Â three (3) or more years of experience in a broad range of legal practice areas. Preferred qualifications include experience in municipal, airport and/or transportation law, including but not limited to Federal Aviation Administration, Transportation Security Administration and other federal law applicable to an airport system such as the US Department of Transportation Airport Concession Civil Rights programs.
