The posted compensation range of $158,684 to 238,035 annually is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay Nebraska Medicine in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Actual compensation for this particular role will be determined at the time of offer based on years of relevant experience.

Required Qualifications: Â Associate General Counsel
•   Five (5) years practicing in a law firm or in-house legal department in one or more of the areas identified above required.
•   Experience drafting and negotiating contracts required.
•   Juris doctorate (JD) degree required.
•   High ethical standards and integrity required.
•   Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while still demonstrating good judgment required.
•   Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills required.
•   Strong analytical skills required.
•   Ability to prioritize and manage a diverse and constantly changing workload in a fast-paced environment required.
•   License to practice law in good standing in Nebraska required. If not licensed in Nebraska, must be licensed in good standing in at least one other state and willing and eligible to obtain Nebraska license within six months of hire.Â
Preferred Qualifications: Associate General Counsel
•   Experience reviewing contracts for a healthcare provider and experience providing legal advice and support on issues involving healthcare compliance, patient care, hospital operations, pharmacy contracting and operations, financial services (including medical payors, collections, and estates), real estate, and/or construction preferred.
•   Experience advising academic health systems preferred.
