As a key member of the Data Privacy Office in Regeneron’s Law Department, the Sr. Director, Privacy Counsel will report to and partner with the Chief Privacy Officer to enable our rapidly growing and globally expanding business to develop and execute on innovative data-driven strategies in accordance with data privacy and related laws. Regeneron is on the cutting edge of science, which positions Regeneron’s Data Privacy Office as industry thought leaders as it engages with external stakeholders and consults on novel privacy issues. You will partner with Law Department colleagues and other functions at Regeneron, provide expert and pragmatic counseling to senior leaders, and provide leadership and subject matter expertise to drive the continued improvement and implementation of Regeneron’s data privacy program.

To be considered for this role, you must have a JD and be licensed to practice law in New York (or eligible for licensure as a registered in-house counsel). At least 10 years of legal experience at a law firm and/or in-house, with at least 5 years of experience in privacy. Biotechnology, pharmaceutical or related life science experience strongly preferred.
